Hi, my name is Kea
I am a qualified midwife with 11 years experience and a mum of 2 young girls.
The births and recoveries of my own girls were 2 very different experiences… After my “wing it” approach during my first pregnancy, I soon realised I needed a different approach a second time to prepare for a more positive birth experience.
Leading up to my second birth I worked on changing my mindset, practicing hypnobirthing/ calming techniques, identifying coping strategies, and involving my partner in the preparations for birth. I also introduced holistic therapies alongside my medical care to reduce symptoms surrounding pregnancy and enhance my overall wellness.
The birth of my second daughter was such a positive experience, I felt empowered, in control, and my recovery was so much easier. I truly believe the preparation, practice, and mindset shift helped me have such a positive birth experience.
By combining strategies that transformed my own mindset, medical knowledge as a midwife, qualifications in holistic therapies, and my passion to support and advocate for women… I have created a support programme to coach women through pregnancy, reducing fears and transforming their mindset for birth.
My Goal
The main aim of this programme is to educate and empower women and partners to have positive birth experiences… providing community involvement, support, education, and a holistic service that runs alongside medical input.

My Approach
In preparing expectant parents for childbirth, a holistic approach is key. Antenatal education reduces fear and instills confidence, addressing past experiences. Focusing on the adjustments required for parenthood and cultivating a positive mindset is crucial. Involving birth partners enhances support, while fostering a supportive community provides a collective space for navigating the challenges and joys of parenthood.
